Public Presentation Event: GeorgiaTech-UTokyo Smart City Design Workshop 2025: Toyosu and the Tokyo Waterfront

School of City and Regional Planning and School of Architecture, College of Design, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and Department of Urban Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan, in collaboration with other institutions, have been conducting data-driven urban design studios on Tokyo’s diverse urban areas. From 2024 to 2025, graduate students of the two universities have been working on smart city design proposals for Toyosu and the Tokyo waterfront to increase resilience against natural disasters including climate change and to achieve carbon neutral.  16 graduate students from GeorgiaTech will come to Tokyo to join the workshop with UTokyo students.  We welcome everyone to the public presentation event on the last day.
